The Scientific research Seminar for graduate students in RIDS was held in January 7th, 2014. The seminar was hosted by Prof Wei Jiang. Prof Zou xiaodong (Dean), Prof Liu jirong (Vice dean) and about twenty members of RIDS took part in the discussion.
During the seminar, Xu xuying, Wu jingshan and Lichen presented their work at hand, both of them are purchasing their Doctor’s degrees. Among the teachers and students presented, discussions were heated on the reporters’ research directions, plans and contents.
Although the time for discussion was quite limited, the whole process was wholesome and thought-provoking, new theories and designs kept popping up. In the future, the seminar would be held quarterly, aimed at establishing a perfect platform for scientific discussions.
